Looking Forward To Launch!

On Friday, September 12th, we gathered for our Covenant Service, where our core group formally committed together before God to walk as a gospel-shaped community. It was a blessed evening filled with Scripture, prayer, singing, and communion as we dedicated ourselves to Christ and to one another.

Then on Sunday, September 14th, our FDE family was commissioned by our sending church, The Grove Church. Cyndia and I had the opportunity to share our deep gratitude with the congregation and its leaders, and especially to thank Pastor Caleb for his care for us as a family, his shepherding heart, and his commitment to discipling men who are pursuing ministry.

It was also a joy to have my dear friend Pastor Carlos join in this special moment. Pastor Caleb Brasher prayed over us in English, and Pastor Carlos prayed over us in Spanish. This displayed a true picture of who we are as Fuente de Esperanza: a bilingual, Christ-centered church committed to making Christ known in our community.

Launch Day

Now, with thankful hearts and great anticipation, we look forward to our official launch this coming Sunday, September 21st. Please continue to pray that God would use FDE to proclaim the gospel faithfully, love our neighbors well, and see lives transformed by the grace of Jesus.
